Widget in footer not displaying columns correctly

I am trying out the Pinboard Theme and am experiencing an issue with the column display in the footer. The website is using the Testimonials Widget. We are displaying a testimonial in the footer of every page, in the sidebar of some pages, and there is also a testimonial page. I’ve set up the content pages to display in 3 columns (4 with a sidebar). The testimonial page displays the testimonials in 3 columns — looks great. However, now the widget in the footer is also displaying in 3 columns. I see in the CSS that Pinboard is giving the testimonial widget in the footer a single column on all of the other pages, but is assigning 3 columns to it on the testimonial page.
