Hi, can you please advise what rules or constraints there are regarding which and how many widgets can be used in each of the sidebar widget areas? And also how the number of columns selected in theme options may affect this? I have successfully got the Search and Twitter feed widgets to appear on my website by putting them in Sidebar Top, but I also want to include some blocks of Text and Images in the sidebar as well. I have tried using the Rich Text widget in the Sidebar Top area, but it does not save or display successfully. Grateful for a solution please. Thanks and best wishes, Tony
The Header Sidebar is intended for ads of size 720×90. Other widget areas can support any type of content. Since the Boxes and Footer Sidebar displays in 3 or 4 columns it’s a good idea to display a number of widgets that’s evenly dividable by the number of columns. The Left and Right widgets will span half of the sidebar area while the Top and Bottom ones will span full width. The Wide and Footer Wide sidebars will display widgets in on column.
