I’ve noticed the update demo page, here: http://demo.onedesigns.com/enlightenment/ has added full width backgrounds to some of the widgets that use the parallax effect when scrolling.
When I add a featured image to a page and then insert that page with a custom query widget, it doesn’t show.
Also, is there any way to re-order widgets to different parts of the page, but maintain their style.
For example, on this page I’m building tomplumdesigns.co.uk I’d like to move that full screen ‘PC Workstation’ down the page, but keep it’s formatting as ‘Full Screen Header’.
Thanks.

I’ve managed to get the parallax working with a background by simplying copying the HTML Markup from the demo site into a sidebars page. It sorta works but it just isn’t fullscreen. I think they might have added extra CSS rules into their styles.css.
Under Theme Options > Sidebars click “Edit Sidebar” on the one you want to add the background to, scroll to the section “Sidebar Background” and click the “Choose Image” button. Upload your image, click “Use Image” and then click on “Save Settings”. Your image should appear as a parallax background on that sidebar now.
You can move and reorder widgets anywhere on the page and they will maintain their styling everywhere except the “Full Screen Header” sidebar. That’s a special case sidebar designed to fit content above the fold, as it’s documented here.
