add tagline and make the 4 post titles immediately appear on the slider

im pretty sure i posted this days ago but couldnt find the old topic.

anyways just wondering how can i add the tagline under the main heading.

also how can I get the 4 post titles to show without moving the mouse over the pictures.

edit: last thing, the pics i uploaded to be used in the slider were over 1500×1500 pixels. should i reduce the images and reupload them since the slider seems slightly laggy.

I’d like to add the tagline to the header too, but in line with site title. Any ideas gratefully received!

In header.php inside the #header block, add the following line:
```
<div id="site-description"></div>
```

I couldn’t get this to work. Instead it showed “” under my page title, but not aligned. It was aligned all the way to the left.

It didn’t work for me, either. The title text now appears on the right, the tagline doesn’t appear at all, and the custom color I chose does not show up. Help!

It doesn’t work out of the box, you need to style it a bit with CSS.
