So I’ve been at this for a couple days off and on. MY problem is that:

http://www.thefruitnation.com/forums/ shows up scrunched based on the current columns configuration. Changing the bbpress.php file around does no good with the way bbpress interacts with pinboard. I created another page http://www.thefruitnation.com/forum/ which is an actual ‘page’ and uses bbpress shortcode to display the same forum index. This works fine..but the problem is I need to still fix the /forums/ page and use that slug page ultimately because if anyone uses the slug to navigate they’ll end up at it confused. I found the following two pages in regards to this issue. Zachmatthews fixed this issue by using a multisite install. I’m trying to avoid that so that is why I’ve arrived here seeking assistance.

I’m in the process now of trying Defkon1′s solution from the first url.. I’m just wondering if it has any implications as well.

I replaced ‘twocol’ with ‘threecol’ to suit my current setup.. seems to work fine now. IS there any implication site wide or locally to this file by using the code in this way?
