Blog, no sidebars, small width

Hi guys,
Today I downloaded your pinboard theme. I try to setup the blog layout without sidebars and not full width. Whatever option I choose in ‘Default Template Layout’. Not much changes on the published website. I see content change, but the blog stays in a wide view so I can hardly see my background picture.
