I might have found a related bug in the template Theme Options, I have set to show in the Portfolio only the posts with the category “Updates”, however in the front page all the posts with other different categories are shown.
In the Home Page settings I have put 0 posts to show before the grid, but it seems to make no difference.
It seems that the Portfolio Category selection is totally ignored.
Any suggestions?
