Category's Under Nav Bar on Porfolio

    How can I get those Category Titles to Show up under the nav bar when in Portfolio?
    And on the Home Page it says “Just Another beautiful WordPress Theme”

    Those links are just subcategories of the main Portfolio category.

    The text you are talking about is the “Wide” widget area, just add a Text Widget and enter your tagline in the title field.
