    Hi all,

Loving the Pinboard theme – I’m using it for a personal project and my first WordPress site.

My site has a standard layout – home page, about us, team members,…other info pages…and a news/blog page.

I’m struggling to get the information I want onto each of these pages above. Which page templates should I use for these pages and how can I direct / add posts/tiles/blocks to specific pages only? Currently when I add a post it shows up on a few different ones. The team members one I’m particularly confused about, just wanting a profile pic – blurb – hyperlinks to their site, that kind of thing.

I’ve done some digging, searching and playing around but can’t seem to crack this….

I’ll be trying to add a gallery / slideshow to the homepage if that makes a difference.

Work in progress… any help / feedback greatly appreciated!

    Hi scottishcanadian,

You can try using the copy/text tab in your post/page editor on the upper right side enter HTML code onto every post/page. Or you can use the visual apperance of the editor, mark some copy and choose “add link” from the icons above.

Which template you suits best is something you have to find out by yourself.

    Cheers,

    Thanks Alexander.

I’ve worked around the problem by using the blank HTML / default template pages for everything but the News/Blog, for that I’m using the Portfolio template. I’ll just need to brush up on my HTML skills to get the pages looking good.

That said as a potential future improvement it could be a useful feature to let posts/tiles be routed to certain pages via categories or tags…

Really liking the theme – thanks!
