Hi
I would like to add a first page presentation text on my first page(SEO-purposes) and display the posts as usual on it aswell pinboard style. I cannot find a page template that works.
I tried the page template “Blog” But the content for the page is not displayed on that template and the other templates do not display posts.
What would be the easiest way to accomplish this?

Try adding a text widget to the “Wide” sidebar, it will appear just above posts. If you need more complex editing try using a plugin like Page in Widget
