Flickr

I am trying to copy the look of the demo theme. But I have noticed that the columns seem wider.

I am wanting to put in flickr as a widget on the right hand side, but is this flickr widget built in? Or do I need to install a widget as I do so the widget only displays downwards and not across the column.
