Front Page Slider and Navigation Frozen

Hi,

I have been using the Minimatica theme for a couple years now and have been very pleased, but it was recently when I updated WordPress that something went wrong with the theme. For some reason the front page slider is frozen and has an empty black area. I have used a front page filter for posts in the past and has worked great but does not seem to be working anymore.

Also, the navigation titles do not hover anymore either, these issues can be viewed at http://www.mtkappasigma.com. Many people rely on this page and I would like to have this issue resolved as soon as possible.
