Homepage Photo Selection and Text Alignment

First, THANK YOU! for creating such a beautiful theme. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for — I love it!

Now, my two questions:

Question 1: Homepage Photo Selection

My default post category is gallery.

The homepage shows three photos grouped together for each post. These photos are randomly selected.

Is it possible to choose which three photos are displayed on the homepage for each post?

Question 2: Text Alignment on Homepage

The text in the blog posts themselves looks fine – the text is left aligned, lined up with the photos.

However, the text of the post excerpts on the homepage is indented.

How do I line up the text with the photos on the homepage so that the text doesn’t appear indented?
