So I’ve been trying to figure these galleries not for a while and I just got my fixed for me it was simple, after I created a second post I saw the issue and fix it in to seconds. the image files that you up load have to be this size (in my case is was anyway) 600w x 500h(pixels)this is the actual size of the gallery window and you create a second post I saw this and made my image 600w x 500h(pixels) and it fit perfect, now also the image if you want it to show the whole image when your not hovering over it, it has to be 300w x 500h(pixels), but you have to still make the image 600w x 500h(pixels) so that it show up in the right spot. to do this in your editor make your image 300w x 500 then add to it 300w(pixels) to the left as black or white canvas. this should add 300w pixels making your final image as 600w x 500h(pixels) the size you need. now upload it using the featured image and the post as a gallery and your done. I hope this helps you as it did me thanks.

So i made some errors ok. 225w x 500 pixels needs be to your image, this is the size of the gallery window when not hovered over it , but you still need to and canvas to the right of your image to have it show up in that spot. after your image is sized to 225w x 500h pixels you need to go under canvas and make the width 600 pixels this needs to be add to the right (in the first post i said left my bad) side of your picture. their should be a box with arrows in that screen click the left middle arrow and then click ok. then up load this picture like you did a billion times before and it should be perfect.

Update Number 3, so the image in now 225p x 400p and the space to the right is the same 225p x 400p if you want to add writing next to the image. then you add the canvas to the right of that to a 600p x 400p image. then upload. man its been a long night trying to figure this crap out, would have been nice if the told you this as you was uploading the images to the gallery.

Hi mil1lion711. Sorry to hear you’ve had so much trouble. I’ve found that searching the forum using related search terms is very helpful. There is a good post here about the best size for images in the gallery: http://www.onedesigns.com/support/topic.php?id=394#post-953 Glad to hear you’ve got it all sorted out now.
