No, I gave up on the slider for now. Not entirely sure I want to use that feature. I’m talking about below where the slider and menu would be, where the grid (if you use one) of posts begins, making the first post larger than the rest.

    As it is here. http://www.morethanbirds.org

And you can view my site if you want. It’s still in the works, of course and who knows what strange thing I may have done to it temporarily if and when you click on it. πŸ˜‰ http://www.jennifersuchey.com (soon to be blissfulmiss.com).

Oh ok ok. I really want to get the slider to be bigger (in height) πŸ™ It’s just a very odd size for my pictures.

Ohh cool website! I will most likely be a new follower once it’s all up and running πŸ˜€ and it’s looking good too!!

But at this point I think i’ll go find another theme. I cannot figure it out and no one else here seems to know. To bad πŸ™

Thanks for the positive feedback. I don’t get much in the way of positive reinforcement around here from my family who has nothing much to say. πŸ˜‰ My husband did finally respond positively when I wrote a post that is currently a draft and said, “It’s eye catching”, in reference to the photos and overall look. “I think I want to read that one.” To which I said, “You want to know how to accentuate your assets?!” πŸ™‚

What’s your site url, if you don’t mind me taking a peek.

I wish I could help you further on the slider. For me, entering various dimensions in the CSS thing I first described to you worked. I just didn’t like how it was turning out. Too big and “in your face” when getting dimensions that made the photo not stretched out. I think I need to start with larger photos to begin with, which I don’t get for free from 123rf. If you’re not familiar with this site, you should check it out. I use this link to get the free ones. http://www.123rf.com/freeimages.php Don’t use the search field at the top. You have to pay for those. Use the search field lower down. I’ve been able to find a lot of great photos there. You have to register and I think you technically only get 1,000 free photos, but that will take some time to use up. After that, I can always get use a different email address to register again. πŸ˜‰
