I feel bad asking such a silly question, but I read the “readme” and many of the forums but could not find my answer. I just registered as a wordpress user and found minimatica while browsing the themes, and love it! However, I cannot find it in the “Add New Theme” area, I also cannot find the `/wp-content/themes/` directory, to upload the folder. Am I missing something completely? There are only 172 themes to choose from in my dashboard profile, and no minimatica!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

If you registered on wordpress.com, this is a hosted service and offers a limited number of themes. If you wish to use Minimatica you’ll need your own hosting plan.

I recently bought a domain name, but I don’t believe it was a hosting plan. Would dreamhost work? I am a student making a website for an assignment and personal use… but I do not like any of the 172 themes offered, and do not have much money to spend. πŸ™

Hello all, I recently started a new hosting account on Go Daddy and installed WordPress through them. I then did a standard “Install Theme” once I got into the WP dashboard, and installed Minimatica through them. Now that I’ve installed it I’m not sure if it is installed correctly because there is only one slider panel and I don’t see any controls in the dashboard for adding more or editing them. What am I missing?
