    Dear Community,
I’m trying to integrate a Video like it is shown in the pinboard example. I installed both plugins (according to: http://www.onedesigns.com/freebies/custom-mediaelement-js-skin). But how can I integrate the video in one of my articles now? I loaded a .mp4 video and integrated it as but it is only displayed as a black box πŸ™ Thanks for your help! Niklas

    I used this code. [video src="http://mysite.com/mymedia.mp4" width="640" height="360"]

Most probably it’s because of a script that conflicts with the mediaelement.js script or a broken flash plugin. Also, are you sure the path to the video file is correct?

If you don’t provide an URL with an example we won’t be able to help further.

Maybe you get a black screen only because your video you uploaded is black only?

Dear Alexander, when I klick on the Video URL I see a girl jumping in a lake. Could it be possible that the problem is that the video is in upright format?

It seems like the problem is Firefox based. Video works on my Android device and in Chrome as well. Firefox doesn’t play mp4 videos. Any ideas to solve the problem?

Like Viper said “Embedding Quiktime and other regular video files is a major pain in the ass and it’s incredibly hard to get it to work in all browsers and operating systems.”

Try common upload sites like Youtube or Vimeo instead.
