Sorry to keep asking about this, my coding skills are adequate but the database stuff is a bit foreign to me these days. Anybody having any luck in figuring out why the sidebars are getting erased when the save button is hit? I’m assuming the save button is obviously clearing the sidebars from the database somehow. Thanks!

when i create a sidebar by default it comes out without title and description,
but if I create a second sidebar, still without title and description, when I save the settings, title and description of the first one are activated.
and if I uncheck name and description of the first one, they are activated in the second one, and so on.

Hey Daniel, everything appears to be good now. The ‘add sidebar’ button is no longer there but when you hit save settings it adds the new sidebar without issue. Also tried applying locations and then saving (which was deleting sidebars previously) and seems to be all good.

Same issue as User3456, sidebars work great but show title / description always defaults to on except for the last one saved.
So another issue that I just discovered… the home page works great with the sidebars but it’s now disabled the page content on other pages from showing. Little bit confused by what would cause this.
*Problem resolved* – my error – made a class as display: none; not realizing it would hide all content on other pages.
Also when you are under Theme Options > Sidebars and you select a template (defaulted to 404) to edit it loads the dropdown again but shows no settings and all you can do is click ‘Save Settings’ or ‘Reset Defaults’
Additionally when in the Grid Loop tab when you select template to edit it just defaults back to ‘All’ no matter which thing you choose in the drop down.
i can’t remove Title in Sidebar from any sidebar, if i do it for one, all the other titles become active once again

I have the same issue. The sidebar titles and descriptions of all sidebars except of the one which I am editing are becoming active. At the moment I am using WP 4.1.4 and Enlightenment 1.1.2. I deactivated my browsers adblocker and all WP Plugins.
And I have a second problem. The sidebars background color is not changing after selecting a color (with unchecked “Transparent” Box). It will be overridden by
.design-full-screen .sidebar-header-secondary, .design-full-screen .sidebar-footerin style.cssReally hoping to go live with my site tomorrow but this issue is preventing that from happening. Is there possibly an update about when the issues may be resolved so I can update my timeline accordingly. Thanks.
Titles issue & Assigning Sidebars to specific page templates through the theme options>sidebars area.
Short term solution for those interested…
Hide the titles using css (.sidebar-heading {display:none;}) and use the sidebar option direction in the page you are editing to assign sidebars.
I’m experiencing the same problem as the original. Every time I try to add a new dynamic sidebar, it replaces the one I just created. I tried updating the theme with the one you posted and disabled any adblock extensions to my browser – even tried other browsers as well.
Will this be solved any time soon? I have to have the website ready for the 12th of May, and if it won’t be solved within a couple of days I’m gonna have to start over with another theme.
