Is it possible to limit the number of blog posts that are displayed on the homepage? Thanks!
RachelHParticipantIn the ‘theme options’ under “general”, you can set the number of full posts to display before the grid. If you’re concerned about how many are showing in the grid, like if it keeps scrolling and scrolling, go to your wordpress dashboard, find “settings” then “reading” and you can set the amount of posts to show on your home page. I have mine set to 7 on that, and set to 3 ‘full’ posts to show before the grid and that seems to work fine
amykParticipantThank you, RachelH! I will definitely try that… I didn’t like the scrolling and scrolling, so I appreciate that tip!
monitalkParticipantHi Rachel:
I am having the same problem. I limited myself to 8 posts in the General Settings. However, I have 20 anyway.
Any thoughts?
My site is at http://www.bestmoneytalk.com
amykParticipantHi, Monitalk – You have to use RachelH’s suggestion of going into Settings / Reading and then selecting there how many blog posts you want displayed on the main page. Worked like a charm for me… hope it helps you, too!
monitalkParticipantHi Amy:
I appreciate your effort. However, if you re-read my post, you will notice that I have already tried that. The General Settings (Reading) are not working.
AlexanderParticipantHi monitalk,
I see 9 articles on the home blog page coming from the theme.
Cheers,

Monitalk, it looks to me also that you have only nine articles on your homepage. Are you using IE? I discovered that my site was looking weird to me, but fine to everyone else, and it seemed I’d accidentally hit ‘compatibility view’ in my browser, and that was making it look different to me. I wonder if it’s something like that with you, or did you already somehow fix it to nine on your own?
