Hello
My site is http://www.mrsandmrsjonestravel.com
The menu along the top (just below the header) has stopped working. I’m pretty sure it used to work. Now, when I click on any of the categories displayed there I just get the home page reloaded with all posts, instead of posts from the category I clicked on.
I have disabled all plugins and it’s still not working.
I have checked that posts are linked to their respective categories and they are.
Can anyone help?
Thanks very much.
Mrs Jones
AlexanderParticipantmrsjones,
Strange. Navigating to ‘Post/Categories’ check if the categories are there. Also you can check there which post is related to which category.
Cheers,
Alexander @ http://www.mouseclick.commrsjonesParticipantThanks, Alexander. I have looked there and the categories are there. They each have a number of posts assigned to them.
I wonder whether the problem is something to do with the address of the categories. Might it be caused by some settings in the Yoast SEO plugin? I disabled that plugin and it didn’t change anything, but I can’t think what else is causing this.
mrsjonesParticipantAlexander and anyone else who’s interested, I seem to have fixed this problem. In Yoast SEO plugin I unchecked the following two boxes. I don’t really understand them, but the category links are now working.
Thanks for helping, Alexander.

– Strip the category base (usually /category/) from the category URL.
– Enforce a trailing slash on all category and tag URL’sIf you choose a permalink for your posts with .html, or anything else but a / on the end, this will force WordPress to add a trailing slash to non-post pages nonetheless.
