Move Blog off Home Page

    Two problems: The Sticky Slider is displaying both in the slider and then again right below it in the main home page. How do I get it off the home page? I just installed WP and the theme within the past two weeks, so I don’t think it’s because I have an old version.

    Second: how can I make the Home page more static? I’d like to have the blog posts appear on a different page within the site, not on the home page.

    First create the static page you want to use as home page and another blank page. Then go to Settings > Reading and under “Front page displays” select “A static front page” and select the previously created page as static front page and the blank page as blog page.
