    Hi,

Love the theme, thank you for making it. I have a few problems with control of elements though, which may be down to my lack of understanding of templates and css.

For example, take a look at my homepage, bristolphilsoc.co.uk. With chrome, it looks nice full screen, then begin to shrink it and things start to get really screwed up. I know I fudged the News bit to get it to fit and it’s very clumsy. What I’d like is for the News to be in its own div or box, so it can act as in independent element and I don’t have to use all these minus margins. Also, I’d like the events to not get squashed. A fixed page would be great.

I see that the theme shrinks things with changing browser window size, and moves images, such as here http://bristolphilsoc.co.uk/ad-absurdum/ it pushes the image from its full screen position to above the text when decreasing the window size.

Can anyone help me with fixing content in place? I’ve got a bit of a mess that I’m really struggling to sort out.

Internet Explorer (8.0.7600.16385) is actually reading the pages the way I want them to appear, compared to on Chrome! (though, doubtless not how the css is designed to appear).
