Old Posts to Pages

Hello,

I am using the Minimatica theme in WordPress and intend to regularly upload content (mainly articles and pics). I would like to maintain the four post pictures on the homepage and once a new post is published have the oldest post be sent to its corresponding page. Don’t know if that makes sense. Basically, I want older posts to automatically populate the pages, always maintaining only four posts, with pics, on the homepage. Don’t know if anyone else has dealt with this. Many thanks.
