I’m using Pinboard for my Street Photography blog and love it. One issue however that I haven’t resolved yet. My photos in Portrait mode with a hight of 850 and width of about 566 stretches to full size. I have tried to post even smaller with a hight of about 600 and width at 360, but it stretches the image to the full full size.

Would like them to be cropped on the Homepage but displayed in full once clicked on the post

Q:Is there a way to do this? To make the theme recognize the picture as one in portrait mode and display the image in the right way. Blogger does this…for reference.

Do apologize if this has been adressed before, but I couldn’t find anything in the forum. Best regards // Petri

    Hi Petri,

With the layout you’ve choosen, the image in the featured post is always trying to take the full column size width. It’s doing that because there is an optional slider, that can be used. Now that you extended the original column size, the image will be even wider.

    Cheers,

    Thanks Alexander,

I have so many portrait mode shots that can’t be displayed correctly and therefore not posted.

So, wrong theme for my needs ;-(

Any suggestions for themes that will have the same functionality and look, payed or free?
(just a photographer here looking to present my street work) πŸ˜‰

    Thanks once again Alex
