ParticipantI’d like to create separate portfolio pages for separate categories of posts. Right now, if I set the page to portfolio, it pulls all posts. Is it possible to set it to only one category of posts?

Thanks!

ParticipantI found where to change the setting for portfolio page in the theme options. But, when I do that, it changes my homepage to all my posts. You can see by looking now, I have only two particular posts set there.

KeymasterYou can create subcategories for the main portfolio category and it will also create a filter for subcategories that will show up above posts, as you can see in this example.
The portfolio setting has nothing to do with the static front page option, that was caused by some other issue.

ParticipantI have the same problem. I have subcategories for years (2010, 2011, etc.) that should show up under artwork (portfolio, no sidebars template). I created a post with the category for the year. Obviously, I’m doing this entirely wrong. “Artwork” is instead of “Portfolio” on your example and the years instead of animals, flowers, etc. Please help.

KeymasterI understand that the main portfolio category for you is called “Artwork” and 2007, 2010, 2011 are subcategories of Artwork. If that is the case then it works exactly as it should.
