    Hi,
I don’t know if this has anything to do with the jetpack 2.5 compatibility issue as well but I am experiencing problems with post type Gallery and the Gallery itself as well.

Please look at the post called “Galerie des Song Slam #open 7” at http://www.musoc.de
The post shows a bigger picture at the left and then a white space at the right side where there should be two smaller images.

Then when you click on it it shows the thumbnails of the gallery.
But when you click onto the first image you will notice that the thumbnail navigation under the displayed image will lead to different images and not the ones used in the gallery itself.

Weird thing. This used to work.

    Help highly appreciated.

Ok. This has something to do with

    [gallery type="thumbnails" link="file" ids="2280,2296,2297,2298,2281,2299,2300,2301,2302,2303,2283"]

    versus

    [gallery type="thumbnails" ids="2280,2296,2297,2298,2281,2299,2300,2301,2302,2303,2283"]

The first one displays correctly. The second one does not. It shows only those ids that are linked to a different article when clicking on the first article.

The problem with the article image remains. πŸ™

The gallery preview does not use the gallery shortcode but attached images. If you want to use custom IDs with the shortcode make sure the images you want as previews are attached to the post.

    Hi Daniel,

    please have a look here:

    http://www.musoc.de/kategorie/photos/

You will see that only the recent post has this problem. All the previous posts were done the exact same way and show three thumbnail images. The newest post only shows one.

    Any idea what to do?

    Thanks for your help,
    Alex
