Search results page -How to get rid or Post Content in search results list?

Hey,

is it possible to modify a template of a list of search results? On a page with all search results I’d like to have only Post Title, Post Excerpt,Post Thumb and Post Meta. Currently it displays search results with the full Post Content. How to get rid or Post Content in search results list (and have only excerpt instead)?

I tried to go to Theme Options > Select Template > Search, and modify it theme, but it seems not to work. Still have full content displayed.
