Translate static text in 'pinboard_posts_nav' via child theme?

i am hopeing anybody could help me out. THX!

I try to change/translate static text of ‘pinboard_posts_nav’ in function.php by useing a child theme. But a declaration of ‘pinboard_posts_nav’ in “/pinboard/includes/theme-options.php” produce an redeclaration error for my child theme. I read about trigger and filter but i don’t really know how to use it.

So, how i could manage a translation of static text in ‘pinboard_posts_nav’?
