First of all , thank you for this amazing theme which I think correspond exactly to what I would likeI read all the discussions but I still didn’t figure out why my photos are not fitting in the frames on the home page.
I followed exactly what I saw in other discussion: set the image as a featured image but but they appear really big ! (only a some portion of the photo appear in the frames)
Also, can I link the photos to pages?
I don’t know anything at all about coding. Could you please answer very simply?

Try using the [url=http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/ajax-thumbnail-rebuild/]AJAX Thumbnail Rebuild[/url] plugin to recreate your thumbnails to the proportions the theme uses.
It didn’t work but I resized myself the photos. I think it was not working with the photos which had a portrait format !
Could you tell me how you change the link on the photos on the home page ? Everytime I click on one of them, it takes me to a page not existing
Thanks againIn this case you do not have permalinks properly set up. Check them under Settings > Permalink, resave them and check for the existence of an .htaccess file in your document root.
